Endangered Animals

Intro

There are many endangered animals in the world. People have killed them for human advantage and they became endangered. Fortunately, people began to realize this issue recently.
But we need to keep being concerned about this because it is somewhat late or it will take much longer time to recover fully the loss of the population of the endangered animals. For this presentation, I selected the following two animals: Panda and Siberian tiger.

Panda
Panda is a mammal inhabiting in China. It is in the family of bear. Its main food is bamboo. Its hair is combination of black and white - ears, eyes, mouth, legs, arms and shoulders are in black and other parts of the body is in white. The shape of the body is similar to bear. Its average longevity is 20 years.
Because its breeding coefficient is low and its natural habitation is being reduced because of human activities, it is now an endangered animal. Several decades ago, people killed Panda to harvest its skin. The Chinese government tried to keep its population from going down by announcing protected areas. This policy was able to maintain its population but its breeding coefficient went down since the policy has effect of limiting the its habitation.
A new method has been invented for increasing the breeding coefficient recently and its current population is about two thousands.

Siberian Tiger

Siberian tiger is a subspecies of tiger. It is the biggest subspecies in its physical size among tigers and its average longevity is about twenty-five years. Originally it used to inhabit in Korean peninsular, Manchuria, northern Mongolia and far east of Russia, but it is currently lives only near Russia. They are called Siberian Tiger, but they are not actually living in Siberia. It is carnivorous and eats any kind of meat. It usually acts in group.
Its population dramatically reduced over the decades because of reckless hunting. As a result, it is currently recognized as an endangered animal. As of 2009, only 220 individuals are known to survive.
